Fellow podcast host Tyler Basu joins me on this week’s guest episode of Unstoppable Success Radio. Tyler has interviewed over 100 successful entrepreneurs for his podcast, written several books including the #1 Amazon Bestseller Lifestyle Business Blueprint, and is the Publisher & Editor of Lifestyle Business Magazine, a digital magazine for lifestyle entrepreneurs. Today, he shares the lessons he’s learned from his own journey and from talking with others!

“Remember that half the journey is behind the scenes.”

Like many other entrepreneurs before him, Tyler’s journey in business began when he read a book called Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. Driven by his ambition, he spent his early twenties navigating his way through several different industries including financial planning, promoting seminars, direct sales, and selling real estate. In 2013, while working full-time as a real estate agent, he launched his first podcast, Chatting With Champions. In the process of interviewing over 100 successful entrepreneurs for his podcast, he built the relationships and acquired the skills and knowledge necessary to begin building his own online business.

In this episode, you will learn:
-how to create the freedom you’ve been craving so badly in both your life and in your business
-how to use the overlap between your strengths and passion so you can make your audience hungry for more content
-how to take all of your pre-existing content you have sitting around and reuse it to draw in new audiences and revenue

“For every 1 thing that works, they were probably 8 or 9 things that didn’t work”

Tyler’s experience with digital publishing has taught him how to create content that people are excited to engage with. He advises entrepreneurs and experienced business owners alike to look at the overlap between their passions and strengths, because it is in this parallel that you find clarity about the kind of business you want to build. Channeling this energy will inevitably make your audience want to engage with your content, but also hanging on excitedly for what you’re about to publish next.
